COVID-19 Update from Samaritan Caregivers

ANNOUNCEMENT
COVID-19 Update from Samaritan Caregivers

Dear Client,

We want to let you know that your health and safety is our topmost priority. We have come up with updates on the steps we are taking at Samaritan Caregivers to reduce and stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus both to our client and staff.

The following additional measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of both clients and staff:

  • Our staff has been advised on the enhanced procedures that have to be taken, such as frequent handwashing, checking body temperature before coming to work, and letting us know if a member of their house recently traveled. If they traveled, they would self-isolate for 14 days and stay home if they feel unwell or have any of the signs and symptoms.
  • Our clients will continue to get the care and services at the scheduled time and days, and we will take all the necessary extra steps and recommendations to ensure their safety.
  • We are available to pick up the phone and answer questions and concerns. We can also do Zoom/phone calls to provide support to clients and their families.

Here is the link to the COVID-19 self-assessment tool, which is faster than calling 811 and will ensure you get the necessary testing done.
